Update: Ross's excellent showing on CBC, M Franti concert this Sat

Ottawa / Gatineau friends of the War Resister Support Campaign,
 
Two fantastic updates for today:
 
1) Ross Spears (one of our two Ottawa-based resisters) absolutely rocked
on the Adrian Harewood late afternoon CBC radio show.  Ross was poised,
honest, and moving as he told his story -- he even got a plug in for our
campaign website.  Well done Ross!
 
2) Our campaign will be present at Michael Franti's show this Saturday
at Bluesfest.  Franti (and ourselves) will be gracing the Rogers Stage
at 8pm (opened by John Akpata, a slam poet and supporter of ours).  We
welcome other campaign supporters attending.  We intend to promote the
campaign website, our February 15 fundraiser picnic in Stratcona Park
(details to come soon), and broader awareness about our work.
 
We're making waves folks, let's keep it going.
