Many people around the world are working hard on this campaign including

Martin  (who just got the award Artist pour la Paix 2002). We can only
imagine what it`s like for you to be sitting on this time bomb that so
many  are trying to defuse. Your call for creative protest  will be
heeded.

I received one Citizen Op-Ed article, and 2 reports, which I entitled:
"Iraqi Arts Café:  Celebrating Life, Learning & Music" and "The Eyes of
Children Looking Back at Us".  They have been sent out.  Thank you, they are
soooo well written, and transport the reader into the streets at your side.
It takes a lot of character and fortitude to actually *be* there, observe
and describe, and communicate it back to us.  Good work.

I got your e-mail with all the media requests, and I have followed up with
them, but still waiting to hear back.  More later on that.

I called Sunday morning at 8 a.m. your time, but you had already left for
Basra.  Hope you have a useful trip, and will try you again Tuesday morning
